Soft Rain: A Book Review

51hi8c1rg2L._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-arrow-click,TopRight,35,-76_AA300_SH20_OU01_Soft Rain is a fantastic book. If you love history and adventures you must read this book. The story is about a girl named Soft Rain.  She and her mother travel the Cherokee Trail of  Tears. It has some parts that are very sad and it is a chapter book so I would recommend this book 10 – and up. Even though I am 8 years old and I still think it is more for older kids. The main characters are mom, dad, Eagle Boy, Soft Rain, Green Fern, Soft Rain’s aunt, Soft Rain’s Uncle Swimming Bear, grandmother, and their dog whose name I forgot. Their adventures take them over mountains into valleys across rivers and into forests and plains.  During the Trail of Tears Soft Rain and her Mother find Father and Eagle Boy.  It has so many surprises hidden in it. This book rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    :]
