Hello! Sorry I haven’t been blogging lately. I have been sick. School homework also takes up time. Today I am going to teach you about the Wombat. First of all the Scientific Name for Wombat is Vombatuas Ursinus. Their lifespan is from 5-20 years. Much longer than the Woodchuck. Wombat’s are herbivores. Some sample foods are Grass, plant roots, and fungi. Wombat’s are found in Australia. The Habitat of the Wombat is Forests, open areas, hills, and mountains. Wombat’s also have predators. Almost no animal at all has no predator. Only if you are a animal at the top of the food chain. Anyway, the Wombat’s are people, dogs, and foxes. The male Wombat’s name is Jack. The females Wombat’s name is Jill. Now in the Jack and Jill went up the hill nursery rhyme I think they were talking about a Wombat. I think they were talking about a male and female Wombat going up the hill to where they lived. It all makes sense. Since The male is called Jack. The female is called Jill. Well Wombats also live on hills. The young Wombats are called Joey. A group of Wombats are called a Wisdom. A Wombat’s body covering is hair.  The Wombats body tempature is warm-blooded. Finally, Wombats are marsupials. Most animals in Australia are. Bye! I’ll write another blog post soon.
